All the monsters in my closet come from just one source,
Their mother's fed them soup with beans, red kidney is the worse.

These dried-up seeds, from trees I guess, we should allow to rot,
Or fall to grow new beany weeds; just stay out of the pot!

There's just no reason to put beans inside a pot of soup,
They turn something that might be good into a pile of goop.

And onions is another thing that needs to go away,
But that will be a talk to have on some other day.


I like bean soup and I'm much older than six, but sometimes it's fun to play somebody else.
