Caribbean Cruise

These short poems are all about my Caribbean Cruise last month.

sailing to snorkel
flying fish racing us
cold rum punch

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

sitting by the pool
quietly enjoying the sun
ding, ding, contest time!

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

The sun rising
over the wake of the ship
frigate bird circles

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

Animals of ice
faces carved in melons
fruit bouquets

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

hot sand
crabs on the rocks
seagulls swooping

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

singers and dancers
a tribute to Broadway
another Mojito

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

sun deck tanning
sipping a Blue Hawaiian
one small cloud

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

The dock
very crowded
people rushing ashore
from three cruise ships in port today
looking for their excursions or gift shops
in port.
